A wind of change is blowing! One inspired by the youth and the discerning Ghanaian!
A change for posterity!
A change for the unborn child!
The mentality of the African has always been inclined towards discipline and a positive mindset!
But discipline oh discipline; can it have another definition, one in the absence of silence and hypocrisy!
Open rebuke is better than love concealed, the proverbs proclaims; but open rebuke should be carried out with carefully selected words, one devoid of innuendoes and negative outbursts!
But on the other divide, one may ask, “haven’t we revered our leaders for far too long?
Sure we have perhaps, but that notwithstanding, we must push up an agenda to express our sentiments, sticking to the issues, and expecting a positive response without the slightest use of insults in the face.
Yeah, that is not typical of the African brought up with the best of morality and discipline.
As a leader, you have oversight responsibilities, and that should be your prime objectives.
But in Africa, our leaders seem to be living an extravagant lifestyle in the wake of so many messes around us.
This too can surely provoke the masses, the taxpayer, and the upcoming youth with frustrations of financial hardships!
Twene Jonas has probably set a pace, a good pace geared towards an awakening!
But hey, I’d rather express my sentiments to my parents for them to have a sense of remorse if perhaps they’re not doing what is expected of them, but guys we can’t insult our parents in the face, yes we can’t.
We can’t fail as a nation on the tangent of discipline, no we shouldn’t.
Maybe we can support our brother and others on the new verge of uprising towards change, but we can as well whisper into their ears to swallow pride and tone down on lured words.
This too got my attention, but I pray it yields some good results though.
Have a wonderful weekend beloved!
